Insurance

Recreation therapy is not considered a billable service through most insurance plans at this time. However, we are working diligently to be able to bill NC Innovations Waiver and The Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) benefit through Medicaid with Local Managed Care Organizations. Private Pay

We understand that therapy services of any kind can be expensive especially as an out of pocket expense. Although we do not offer a sliding scale, we feel that our services are at a price that works for ALL of our families.  After a comprehensive assessment has been completed and before treatment begins, we will clearly explain treatment recommendations. This includes frequency and duration of treatment, so that you can make an informed decision about your child's treatment.

• Academic tutoring is $25 per hour. We recommend a maximum of 4 hours per week to prevent child from becoming overwhelmed or burned out.  

• Recreation Therapy Consultations are $30 per hour. This includes face to face and electronic communication.

• Intake session fee is $75. The intake is an in-depth assessment of current functioning, signing of paperwork, etc. and can take up to 2 hours to complete.

• Recreation Therapy Service is $40 per hour. The amount of time will be based on assessment and need.

• Professional Development and Staff Training- Pricing differs based on requested training. Please contact us for more information.  

 

Mileage- $.45 surcharge per mile over 30 mile radius from Elizabethtown NC.

 

Payment is to be made prior to all appointments.
